A customized grand piano that required a strip of marquetry going around the outside of the piano casework, 23′ of a continuous vine made of marquetry. It was first made of smaller sections, joined together and glued onto the wooden side of the piano.

Thanks for putting into writing the thoughts of MOST piano teachers!
Where is the finished product? Love to see the piano once completed.
Have you demonstrated inlay veneer letters,, are there any books or bidieos for this topic
Lettering and detailed inlay MOP info can be found through Duke of Pearl or Steward McDonald supply with guitar inlay instructional vids and books.
Yes I have done lettering, and an accurate way is to cut out blocky straight lined letters with a laser, and cursive or stylized lettering is very doable. See my third portfolio pic for #089 and the second pic in Proct # 045.
