Three similar boxes with different personalities. A walnut and elm burl Heirloom gun case box lined with black leather. A cherry, laurel and walnut jewelry box fitted with a carved ring tray and lined with royal velvet, (I made a Padauk, white gold and lapis necklace as well) A wenge and walnut humidor lined with Spanish cedar, with a marquetry image of a toroid, which reminds one of the perfect smoke ring… (I have one Humidor box left)
Wood: Wenge, Walnut burl, Walnut, Maple, Avoider, Rosewood (cut from wood out of a 250 year old English pub), Elm burl, Satinwood, Laurel burl, Tulipwood, Tulipier, Satinwood, Black pear, and Poplar.
Metal: Gold plated brass.
Finish: Shellac and Wax.
