An edition of 10 tilt-top marquetry tables, inspired by the neo-classical period of Charles X, with a twist. The curved base with cast bronze three-toed griffin feet, support the hinged top for display, or for moving through doorways as was done during the early 1800’s. This series was made with sustainable yield and recycled lumber and several were finished with a non-toxic orange extract based varnish, to illustrate that production fine furniture can be made in a non-toxic, sustainable resource manner.
Wood: Pollard Ash (Laurel burl) Purpleheart, and black dyed pearwood.
Finish: Citrus oil varnish or Lacquer
Dimensions: 29″high X 42″ diameter (73 cm x 107 cm)
