014. Ribbon High Cabinet

Back to Portfolio

A storage or entertainment center cabinet with an inlaid wandering ribbon motif, anchoring the ‘loose’ end of the ribbon onto the leg with a Lapis lazuli stone thumbtack…..This was an edition of two,  designed with a hint of Oriental influence on the post hats, curved doors and side panels that compliment the long light curve of the legs.

Thilo Roemer and Randy Viscarra contributed to the construction of this cabinet.

Wood: Walnut frame, Swiss pear and Satinwood.
Stone: Lapis lazuli.
Finish: Conversion Varnish lacquer.
Dimensions: 36″ x 72.5″ x 21″ deep (91.5 cm x 184 cm x 53.5 cm deep)
