The Wooden Dress project has evolved from designs we have been creating since 2010. This koa dress has thin Hawaiian Koa veneer laminated onto cloth, creating a wood surface that is supple and soft to the touch, yet strong enough not to crack or buckle with body movement. It stretches with a back harness hinging system that will accommodate a size 6-8, is comfortable to wear or sit in, and has a removable under-slip for cleaning. The gold neck clasp allows easy access to step into and out of, and the whole dress weighs 1 lb. 6 oz.

-The clutch is made with flexible koa veneer, wenge, and leather with gold hardware.
-The earrings, are koa ‘scales’, and with a touch of 24K gold leaf on the backs, complete this ensemble.
