Dragon scales inspired this wearable wooden dress. It is made of lacquered oak veneer, a wood valued for its strength and resiliency, found from the building of old sailing ships to production furniture and wood flooring that is made today. Such a dress challenges the assumption of oak as a hard and unyielding wood. The sound made when walking is likened to the rustle of tree leaves. The hinged harness supports the dress and the gold neck latch allowing the dress to be easily removed.
