This curved marquetry wall art piece was inspired by a story of a school of tuna heading toward danger. All the materials are natural wood and abalone veneer, on a quilted maple background wood. The bowed and canted surface makes a dynamic chatoyance effect when walking past the panel making the water shimmer.
